Howto – Check Your Virtual Desktop (VPD) Expiration or Renewal Status

2 min read

Spaceport Consulting offers Virtual Private Desktops (VPD) with unique IDs in the format (34xx). If you purchased through our website, you’ll have a 5-digit alphanumeric order number (e.g., “AB123”), and if you purchased via eBay, you can use the 5-digit alphanumeric order number provided in the welcome message. This guide explains how to look up the current status or expiration date of your VPD.

  1. Visit https://www.spaceportconsulting.com
  2. Hover over the “Services” menu at the top navigation bar.
  3. Click “Check System Expiration” from the dropdown.

(If you can’t find it, here’s a direct link: https://www.spaceportconsulting.com/index.php/expiration-check/)

On the Check System Expiration page:

  1. VPD ID: Enter your VPD ID in the form 34xx (for example, 3457 or 3432).
  2. Order Number: Enter the 5-digit alpha-numeric code from your website purchase (e.g., “AB123”) or the eBay order number you received.
  3. Click “Check” to submit.

After clicking “Check,” you’ll see one of the following messages:

  • System is set for auto renewal: If your VPD is on a subscription plan.
  • Your system expires on: YYYY-MM-DD: If it’s an active month-to-month or annual plan.
  • Your system expired on YYYY-MM-DD: If the date has passed but the system is still showing as active in the system logs.
  • Your system expired on YYYY-MM-DD and is deleted (or similar wording): If the system is both inactive and expired.
  • No matching system found: If your VPD ID and/or order number are invalid, or no record matches.
  • Make sure your VPD ID is typed correctly (e.g., 3457, not “3457.” with a period).
  • Confirm your order number is exactly as provided in your order confirmation email (website or eBay).
  • If you see errors or have additional questions, contact us at support@spaceportconsulting.com.

That’s it! You’ve successfully checked your VPD’s expiration or renewal status. If you need further assistance, see the FAQ below or contact us.

Q1: Which Order Number Should I Use?
A:

  • Website Orders: The 5 digit alpha numeric order number you are provided at the time of order. (BIT26, for example)
  • Ebay Orders: The 5 digit alpha numeric order number you are provided in the welcome message (BL726, for example)
  • Older Ebay Orders (before March, 2025): the Long form ebay order, found in your purchase history. (12-16720-20345, for example)

Q2: I See “System is set for auto renewal.” What Does That Mean?
A:
This message appears if your VPD is on a subscription plan, meaning it automatically renews each billing cycle. You won’t have a fixed expiration date displayed, as it stays active until you cancel.

Q3: My VPD Says It’s Expired or Deleted. Can I Reactivate It?
A:
Yes, if the system is expired and active. Please contact us at support@spaceportconsulting.com or purchase a renewal on our store if available. Once the new order is processed, we’ll bring your system back online. For systems that are expired and inactive (deleted) you will have to purchase a new system.

Q4: I Entered My VPD ID and Order Number But Got “No Matching System Found.”
A:

  • Double-check you typed the VPD ID (34xx) correctly.
  • Confirm your order number exactly matches your email confirmation (website or eBay).
  • If you still see no match, contact us to verify your details.

Q5: My VPD ID Doesn’t Look Like 34xx. What Do I Do?
A:
All provisioned VPDs have IDs in the 34xx range.

Q6: I Still Have Questions. How Do I Contact You?
A:
Please email support@spaceportconsulting.com

  • Renewals: Extend your existing VPD or upgrade your plan.

We hope this helps you easily check your VPD’s status! If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to reach out. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you.
